Alaska RULED! We ate whale blubber, seal oil, halibut pizza, reindeer sausage, and Joe got a polar bear tooth! Thanks to everyone who made it such a magical experience - especially Melissa, Nicole, Arcticon, UAF, Sherri, the Anchorage Library, Sam, Jeffrey, Julie, Ileah, Katie, and Sarah. We had a BLAST!
We are Wizards is having its East Coast Premiere at the New York Underground Film Festival next weekend! I'll be at the Saturday screening along with the filmmakeers and many of the films other subjects including Melissa Anelli, the Hungarian Horntails, and Order of Merlin - all on-hand for a post-show Q&A. These screenings are very limited capacity and will sell out. Please buy tickets in advance!

The house show in Anchorage tonight is POSTPHONED until tomorrow! We had bad weather in Boston and missed our connecting fight to Anchorage. The show will happen as scheduled, but on Thursday, March 6th. BE THERE!

Our first shows of 2008 happen this coming weekend! We're playing a benefit show for Doctors without Borders at Keene State in NH on Friday. Then Saturday we're at Purchase College in NY, and Sunday is a benefit for 826 Boston happening in Jamaica Plain!
And then we go NORTH to ALASKA! We've got a couple new shows on the itinerary. We added a house show on March 5th in Anchorage. And then on the 7th, we'll have a double-header at the Anchorage Library. And on the 8th, we hit Fairbanks for a matinee show. DON'T MISS THESE!
Also, we're in an awesome documentary called We Are Wizards! It's premiering next weekend at SXSW in Austin!

That's right! We're playing a few shows up in ALASKA in March! If you live in Alaska, we better see you at these shows!

March 5 - House Show - Anchorage!
March 7 - Anchorage Public Library - 2 shows!
March 8 - University of Alaska - Fairbanks
We'll be flying up a couple days earlier, so if anyone else wants to set up shows within driving distance of Anchorage, we're game. House shows, pool parties, whatever...email us!
Also, once we've played in Alaska, we'll have played in 49 states. People who live in Hawaii and have the money to fly us out there should start to get in touch about setting up shows! 4reals!

A lot of really incredible things have happened to us over the course of the past 5 and a half years, but this is definitely one of the coolest.
Jenni, from Sweden sent us the following photo:
That's right, we're in the Swedish version of TRIVIAL PURSUIT! Holy Crap! The translation of the question reads: "what do brothers Paul and Joe DeGeorge call themselves when they rock out?" If it's at all possible that our band has the distinction of being considered trivial knowledge in Sweden, then it's probably high time we booked a tour there. Thanks Jenni for sending in the photo!
